Mission
The Central Waterfront Oversight Committee was established in 2019 by City Council Ordinance 125761 [PDF]. The committee’s role is to advise and provide feedback to the City and Friends of Waterfront Seattle on the ongoing operations and maintenance of the Waterfront Park and Public Spaces, beginning in 2020 with the Pier 62 Pilot O&M License Agreement between Seattle Parks and Recreation and Friends. The committee’s oversight work will include maintenance, public safety, outreach, communications, partnerships, and programming and activation.
