Caribbean Sea Fest 2018

August 12, 2018
11:30 - 6pm

Seward Park

Come Join us in the merryment of Carribbean Sea Fest 2018! The purpose of Caribbean Sea Fest is to bring together the culturally and linguistically diverse members of the Caribbean Community in the Pacific Northwest along with those interested in learning and experiencing Caribbean cultural expressions to share in a day of cultural performances, cultural expression, and cultural exchange. The secondary purpose, and the reason for holding it at the amphitheater, is to encourage community members to connect with the natural environment. We will have a green theme through out. This is a family-oriented event; children are most welcome. It will be grassroots, vibrant, and participatory. The theme for the festival is “Solar Energy Powers our Culture and our Future.” Caribbean Sea Fest will have dancers, Moko Jumbies, and a music truck at The Umoja Fest Unity Parade on Saturday, Aug 4, 2018. Let us know if you want to play mas' with us

This event is free and open to the public. Learn more about this event!
